Federici extends Cherries stay

Bournemouth goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new three-year contract with the Premier League outfit, which will see him remain at the club until 2019.

The club announced Federici's extension on their offcial wesbite, with the Cherries' chief executive Neill Blake citing his experience for both club and country.

"Adam is a vastly experienced goalkeeper with both Premier League and international experience and we're pleased to keep him with the club as we embark on our second Premier League season," he said in a statement.

"Adam has been a consummate professional during his time here and we're delighted to have secured his long term future with the club," Blake said.

The 31-year-old made 12 appearances in all competitions last season after joining the team in May 2015 and will continue to compete with Polish international Artur Boruc for the number one jersey.
