Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has warned Paris Saint-Germain that they will have to cough up more than £700 million to prise Cristiano Ronaldo away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portugal international became the world's most expensive player when he joined Madrid from Manchester United for £80 million back in 2009.
The 30-year-old has been consistently linked with an exit in recent seasons, with a return to United or a move abroad touted.
One club to have been continually linked is big-spenders PSG, but Perez insists the only way Ronaldo will join the Parisiens is if his €1 billion release clause is met.
"If PSG want Cristiano then it is very simple," he told Radio Cope. "They just need to pay his clause of €1billion and they can take him."
