NBA Wrap: Warriors down Magic in big second half

The Golden State Warriors battles past the Orlando Magic 110-100 after a strong second half for a seventh consecutive victory at Oracle Arena on Monday.

Kevin Durant top scored with 21 points including a season-high eight assists.

Stephen Curry missed his first game of the season due to a thigh injury which opened the door for Shaun Livingston with a start and scoring a season-high 16 points and six assists.

The Cleveland Cavaliers travelled to New York to beat the Knicks 104-101 with LeBron James nailing 23 points and 12 assists.

Kyle Korver scored 19 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to spark a huge comeback for the victory.

Washington Wizards beat the Sacramento Kings 110-92 for their third straight win as John Wall had 21 points and nine assists, Marcin Gortat scored 18.

Otto Porter Jr. and reserve Mike Scott added 15 points apiece as six Wizards scored in double figures.

New Orleans Pelicans beat the struggling Atlanta Hawks 106-105 after a sloppy performance as Darius Miller hit four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to score 14 of his 21 points in the victory.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies 110-103 as Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points and nine rebounds while Khris Middleton and John Henson had 17 points each as Milwaukee won its third straight.

Tyreke Evans scored 14 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for Memphis, and Dillon Brooks added 19 points.

The Minnesota Timberwolves left it late to get past Utah Jazz 109-98 at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

In the fourth quarter, Donovan Mitchell scored 12 of his team-high 24 points in the fourth quarter for the Jazz and Rodney Hood added 16 points off the bench. Thabo Sefolosha and Jonas Jerebko scored 13 points each.

For the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns scored 24 points, Jeff Teague added 22 while Jimmy Butler double-doubled with 21 points and 10 assists.

The travelling Philadelphia 76ers downed Los Angeles Clippers 109-105 as Ben Simmons starred throwing down an incredible seven dunks in the 76ers’ win for his 22 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.

The result moved Philadelphia to 7-6 for the season.
