Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol has been listed as day-to-day after it was confirmed that his ankle was not broken.
The Spaniard hurt his left ankle after getting tangled up with DeMarcus Cousins in the third quarter of his side’s 112-98 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
He immediately left the court and underwent X-rays, which did not show any serious damage. As a result, he has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle.
"It hurts, but it's not broken,'' Gasol said. "It's tender right now, so we will take it day-to-day, just like always."

The Grizzlies will be hoping that Gasol returns sooner rather than later as he is averaging a career-best 19.5 points per game to go with 6.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals.
