The Los Angeles Lakers and Timofey Mozgov, a free-agent center, have verbally agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal, according to The Vertical.
Mozgov has spent the last season and a half with the Cleveland Cavaliers and was part of their NBA title-winning squad in the 2015/16 season.

The Cavaliers acquired Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets in January 2015 for two first-round draft picks.
However, the 29-year-old’s tenure with the Cavaliers was a turbulent one as he averaged 10.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 46 games upon joining them in 2015. He was also a starter in all 20 of the Cavaliers’ post-season games, including their NBA Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors.
In the recently concluded season, however, the Russian saw his minutes slashed and as a result, he only averaged 6.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
